Batam, Batamnews - The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Riau Islands Province (Kepri) has completed the recapitulation of the vote count results at the provincial level within the KPU Kepri working area for the 2024 General Election on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Specifically for the House of Representatives (DPR RI), four legislative candidates (caleg) are confirmed to advance to the Senayan, thanks to significant individual and party vote counts. The parties that successfully advanced their candidates are Gerindra, PDI Perjuangan, Golkar, and the NasDem Party.

As known, the DPR RI seats for the Kepri electoral district are allocated four seats. The total votes obtained by the Gerindra Party were 164,310 votes, PDI Perjuangan 149,222 votes, Golkar Party 166,147 votes, and NasDem Party 151,776 votes.

From these results, the respective candidates with the highest votes from each of the four parties, who are confirmed to occupy the comfortable seats in Senayan, are Ir Endipat Wijaya from the Gerindra Party with 105,413 votes, Mayjen TNI (Ret) Sturman Panjaitan from PDI Perjuangan with 59,460 votes, Rizki Faisal from Golkar with 73,664 votes, and finally Randi Zulmariadi from NasDem with 85,670 votes.

With these results, all four are confirmed to represent the Kepri community in Jakarta for the 2024-2029 period.
